RECALL – Come When Called @ C.H.A.C.O.'s Hub in Tesuque
Sep 27 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Rover ComeClass Details: Some of the most fun reasons for having a dog in our lives is to watch them do what they do best: Run at full speed, chase balls or swim, play off leash with other dogs and having our dogs come to us when we need them to do so!

In this semi-private course you will learn techniques that, when practiced with consistency, will teach your dog to mind you in all sorts of distracting environments. You will also learn how to use your dog’s natural behaviors to your advantage. Your dog will learn to “check in” with you more in new and fun environments and to be more responsive to your cues for attention and play.

As a result of our work together during the course and your practice outside of class, you both will become more of a team in off-leash adventures – instead of YOU having to worry if Rover will come back to you! The class is held on leash and off-leash in a large fenced-in area.

The Details: Tuesday, Sept. 13th, 20th and 29th from 12-1pm

First class is a people-only orientation. NO dogs please. Semi- private open to 4 guardians and 4 dogs.

Pre-requisiteDogs must be dog friendly (no growling or lunging at other dogs) and comfortable working in close proximity of other dogs. Us of a harness (back clip preferable) for sessions 4 and 5.

NOTE: Orientation is in the comfort of your home. Materials will be e-mailed 3 days prior to first on site meeting. You will review materials & answer short question survey to be returned be email prior to class start date.

The pressure is off and the fun is on!

All classes and instruction given are based on the science of animal learning. Behaviors are build step-by-step using reinforcement as well as the use of a marker (clicker).
